Rustic French Antique Ironstone Brown Transferware Bathroom Toilet Service 2 piece Set with water jug/pitcher with washing water basin/bowl or in French it's called "Necessaire de Toilette- Broc et Cuvette". The model name is "EGLANTINE" and was made by famous French maker of Faiencerie "Gien", France, circa late 1800s.
Stamped "Medailles D'Or - Faiencerie de GIEN - Diplomes D'Honneur - EGLANTINE".

In lovely rustic vintage condition. As this item is antique and close to 100 years old, there are some signs of age such as pattern bleeding and fading in certain spots, manufacturing marks and surface marks/ bumps from the glazing process, there are areas around the edges of wearing down of the protection glaze or tiny marks where there is no varnish (surface not smooth), surface crazing and areas of discoloration and there a chip on the bottom edge of the large bowl cuvette as shown in the photo collages. The lower price reflects the blemishes. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates especially with the photo collages.
