Lovely French Antique Ironstone Floral Bathroom water jug pitcher in French "Broc". Made by famous maker of Earthware Faience, Grand Depot de Porcelaines et Faiences E. Bourgeois Paris & Marseille, founded in 1862 by Emile Bourgeois, this famous store that imported English ceramics and commissioned his own work in France. He retired in 1905 and the store closed after WW2.
Stamped on the bottom in a circle "Faïences Porcelaine Cristaux Grand Depot E. Bourgeois 21 rue drouot Paris 33 rue st fereal Marseille".
--- Condition ---
In lovley rustic used vintage condition. As this item is antique and close to 100 years old, there are signs of age and usage such as pattern bleeding and fading in certain spots especially the gold trim, manufacturing marks and surface marks/ bumps from the glazing process, some areas surface crazing age crackle and there are areas around the edges of wearing down of the protection glaze or tiny marks where there is no varnish (surface not smooth) as shown in the photo collages. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates especially with the photo collages.
