French Vintage Metal Bottle Carrier/Holder/Caddy with a metal handle with twisted wire. It holds up to 6 bottles and is unusual as it has the "curvy" metals to separate the bottles and lovely rivet at the intersections.
I purchased this piece from a old train station converted into a restaurant 'brocante' in Latrense, France (near Bordeaux) and immediately saw the potential beauty in this piece that no one else could see. With a little elbow grease I completely restored this piece to show it's original rustic distressed condition. I used a mixture of 100% natural miss mustard seed milk paint colors in kitchen scale, artissimo and flow blue then distressed the metal handle. I protected the cleaned surface with a rust resistant varnish.
It is very sturdy and will be a unique piece for your home, indoor or outdoor to entertain guests! Country or Industrial Decor themed gift.

In lovely vintage condition. As mentioned this piece has been cleaned and restored to show it's original charm, detail and beauty. It is almost rust free although there are areas around the corners that were hard to fully remove the rust but the rust color around the edges adds to it's charm and beauty. There are no major blemishes or defects just a few areas when the metal is bent or not smooth due to use but I am sure with a little muscle it could be straightened (if that is the look you like). It doesn't affect the function of the carrier and I preferred it as is. Please take a look at photos and use zoom for detail.
