French Antique Ironstone Blue Transferware Vintage Flat Edge Hollow Soup Plate "Assiette Creuse" in French. The lovely model is called "Maroc". Made by famous French manufacturer of Earthware Faience "St Amand et Hamage Nord" France, in Terre de Fer.
Stamped : « Ste Amand et Hamage Nord MAROC France » in a lovely symbol with Light house.

--- Condition ---
They are overall in good vintage condition given their age. There are certainly signs of usage such as some pattern bleeding/fading/ink marks in certain spots, some utensil marks/scratches on the surface, there are tiny manufacturing/glazing marks/bumps on the surface and edges where there is no varnish/glaze (surface not smooth), some minor discoloration on the surface and 1 plate has a hairline crack more visible from the back of the plate and covered by the pattern on the front of the plate as shown in the photos. **Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process.
These items are old, were used and were manufactured at a time when processes were less under control as today. Therefore, in addition to the defects identified and reported in the ad, slight dimensional differences or deviations in the color or in the decoration between the different parts could be noted. Besides, some little marks or small manufacturing imperfections such as minor defects in the glaze or in the varnish etc., may also be observed.
