Lovely Rustic French Antique Enamelware Bathroom Toilet Service 2 piece Set with water jug/pitcher with washing water basin/bowl or in French it's called 'Necessaire de Toilette- Broc et Cuvette''. This set was made by famous French maker of enamelware "BB Frères" circa 1920s. Both pieces signed stamped on bottom "354a - Marque Deposee - B.Freres" with an image of a crown, leaves and symbol.
It's decorated with several floral arrangements in rust red, pink & white colors and green & grey leaves and stems with gold trim lines. This set was not in great shape when I bought it but I cleaned with natural products to remove surface marks and as much rust as possible. It now shows its original beauty, charm and cream surface with rustic clean age marks on the surface.
Back in the day these pieces were used in the bathroom for washing before there were running water from sinks and showers. It bathroom pitcher was used to store clean water then the large bowl was for washing and storing the dirty water. These sets are hard are hard to find and rare so they are collectible and now used for floral arrangements or for home decor decoration.

In lovely rustic used vintage condition. As this item is antique and close to 100 years old, there are signs of age and usage such surface scratches, spots, marks, dents, enamel chipping, surface crazing, age crackle in the enamel surface and some residual rust marks where there is metal exposed (circle age marks shown in the photos). As mentioned, It has been cleaned with nature products to help remove some of the surface rust and dust but there is still some clean rust which I believe gives the piece it's charm and beauty.
