A lovely set of 4 round rustic French kitchen tin storage canisters (plus 1 bonus same label) with removable lids made in the 1920s. These canisters are ivory with 2 scenes on each side of the tin faces - peacock scene on the front and colorful flowers on the back. They can be displayed on both sides and the lids can be removed so they can be used for stocking larger items such as paint brushes, writing tools, dried flowers, etc.
The were originally designed to store: Sugar (Sucre), Pate (Pasta), Coffee (Cafe) and 2 Chiroree (Powered Chocolate) as labeled on each side of the canister. Each are stamped by the manufacturer with a picture of a drummer boy and marked FerEmbal.
They would be great to store all your crafting and sewing supplies in and they would of course look fantastic in any industrial or vintage kitchen.
