This is a lovely French Vintage Enamelware bedroom pot (chambre pot) decorated with a Blue and White Marbled pattern. The body is white with a blue trim and a wooden handle.
This bucket was not in great shape when I bought it but I cleaned it, removed as much rust as possible and made sure it was repaired to be water safe. Although it has many age blemishes, they are clean and have charm with rustic clean age marks on the surface.
It was used to bring water into the bedroom before there was running water and used to take liquids from the bedroom before there were proper bathrooms. It was also used as a waster baskets/bucket which is what is still used for today in French homes. However it could be used for any interior/exterior design purposes such as a flower pot, umbrella stand....used your imagination in household decor. Shabby Chic Decor.

In rustic repaired vintage condition. Given the age, there are surface spots/marks/dings/chipping in the enamel (mostly around the edges and on the top and inside of the lid) and the wood on the handle is showings its age with wear and tiny holes in the surface but it just adds to its rustic charm, beauty and character. As mentioned, it has been clean and I removed as much of the rust as possible but a little still exist as shown in the photos. Very good quality, no holes (fixed), no leaks and usable. Please take a look at the photos closely and use zoom for detail.
