A beautiful complete set of 6 classic stackable vintage enamelware canisters. This is a an absolutely beautiful white enamelware graduated nesting canister set in a creamy white enamel over steel with classic red and silver stripe pattern. The canisters nest one inside the other when not in use. They date back to the 1930s and are called "Series des boîtes" in French
Each STAMPED by the manufacturer.
Each individual storage pot is labeled with a kitchen item in French as follows:
Sucre (Sugar), Farine (Flour), Café (Coffee), Pâtes (Pasta), Chicorée (Chicory) and Poivre (Pepper).
They would be great to store all your crafting and sewing supplies in and they would of course look fantastic in any industrial or vintage kitchen.
--- Condition ---
In lovely vintage condition. Vintage condition with signs of age and use which gives them their charm and beauty. I call it the distressed rustic look. I have cleaned and removed as much of the rust possible however there are still some chips off the enamel around the rims, edges, lids, spots of enamel wearing/pattern fading and light crazing as shown in the photos. There are no holes and the canisters are liquid safe. Please take a look at the photos closely and use zoom for detail.
