1940/50s ~ French Vintage Galvanized Zinc Bottle Carrier ~ 10 Bottle Storage ~ Beer Caddie

French Vintage Galvanized Metal Small Bottle Holder/Bottle Carrier/Bottle Caddie with a wooden handle in a distressed blue/green. It holds up to 10 small bottles and is unusual as I have never seen one like with the grid body and 2 circle slots to firmly fit the bottles in the carrier. I was told by the family I bought this from at a brocante that this piece dated back to the mid 1900s (1940s-1950s timeframe)

I cleaned the years of residue off this item with dish soap and water and used miss mustard seeds hemp oil to restore the wood handle. It is a sturdy piece and the metal handles are pliable so they can be removed if you want to clean the piece more easily.

PLEASE NOTE: This carrier does not fit wine bottles or wide bottles. It fits small bottle such as the 25cl Leffe Beer Bottles as shown in the photos (diameter no large than 6 cm).

In lovely vintage condition. This piece has been cleaned to show it's original charm, detail and beauty. There is very little rust remaining in tiny spots in the corners that were hard to reach and there are no major blemishes in the surface. The handle is pliable so it can be bent if you use extreme strength for cleaning. Please take a look at photos and use zoom for detail.

I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section).
