--- Condition ---
In good vintage condition given their age. There are signs of usage such as pattern bleeding/ ink marks/fading in certain spots, subtle utensil marks in the surface, manufacturing marks and surface bumps from the glazing process, surface marks and wear/chips in the protective varnish, marks on the barrier lines of the partition due to stacking plates, #1 has a small smooth chip on the back side not visible from the front and #3 has more visible surface crazing as shown in the photos (refer to the collage). Please ask me if you are unsure. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates.
**Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process. Crazing is cracking in the surface of the plate due to use sometimes it's even and is called the crackle look and other times it is random.
