German French Vintage Ironstone Blue Transferware Porcelain Vintage Service for 10 people consisting of 1 Round Serving Plate with embossed side handles and 9 Small Serving Plates. Made by famous French-German maker of Earthware Villeroy & Boch in the "Burgenland" pattern and can be used as dessert or appetizer plates.
They are made of high quality porcelain with a lovely fine floral blue transferware design depicting a romantic daily life countryside scene near a lake. You can read the maker's official stamp at the back of each plate "Villeroy & Boch Mettlach, Made in Germany, SEIT 1809, Mettlacher Kupfertuck Unterglasur "Burgenland". This style of back stamp was used from 1959 to 1970

--- Condition ---
In very good vintage condition. Due to age, there are some signs of usage such as utensil marks, light traces of pattern fading/bleeding, 2 plates have an area on the back edge that looks like a repaired chip, 1 has a tiny chip on the back edge and 1 has a hairline crack on back edge as show in photos. Please take a look at the photos closely and use ZOOM for detail. Please ask me if you are unsure.

Approximately Larger Round Platter Plate: 28 cm diameter x 31 cm width x 2.5 cm
Small Serving Plates: 19 cm diameter x 1.5-2 cm height & 5001 grams in total not including the packaging weight.
