--- Condition ---
They are in lovely vintage condition due to the age however there are some signs of usage and lovely imperfections such as minor pattern bleeding/fading in certain spots, manufacturing marks/surface bumps from the old glazing process and minor surface marks from utensils, tiny marks on the edges of the piece, handle and inside cover where there is no varnish/glaze (chip in the varnish therefore surface not smooth) and some surface crazing and discoloration as shown in the photo and collage. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates.
**Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process. Crazing is cracking in the surface of the plate due to use sometimes it's even and is called the crackle look and other times it is random.
