1950s ~ FPP (Faiences et Poteries de Provence) VALLAURIS ~ French Vintage BARBOTINE Majolica Style 3-Piece Serving Set for Cake & Appetizers

Lovely unique handcrafted French Vintage BARBOTINE Cake or Appetizer 3-piece Service - 1 Large Round Serving plate, 1 Rectangle Serving plate and 1 Serving Spatula. Made by famous French maker of porcelain Earthware FPP (Faiences et Poteries de Provence) VALLAURIS in a very beautiful green color which is typical of the French Riviera.

Each piece is signed by the artist "F.P.P. Vallauris France I-35"

This would be a great addition to any entertaining experience and is a wonderful conversation piece.

--- Condition ---

In lovely vintage condition. There are some signs of aging, usage and lovely imperfections such as pattern bleeding/fading, manufacturing spots or bumps on the surface of the plates, faint surface scratches from utensil marks, manufacturing /glazing marks on the surface, there are areas around the edges of wearing down of the protection glaze or tiny marks where there is no varnish (surface not smooth or small paint chips in the varnish), decorative age crackle and there is a time chip in the varnish on the side edge of the round cake plate as shown in the photos. Please ask me if you are unsure. I have more photos that I can provide upon request. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates especially the photo collages.

**Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process. Crazing is cracking in the surface of the plate due to use sometimes it's even and is called the crackle look and other times it is random.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING AVAILABLE.   I ship all my products using the French Postal Service (La Poste). For larger items. I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section). If you want additional information about insurance or tracking for smaller items. please contact me for details on the supplemental change.

I try to use recycled materials for my packaging while being mindful that the materials are suitable to ensure the safest expedition to protect your purchase during the delivery process. I pack very carefully especially fragile items and I check to make sure I'm using the most cost-efficient method.
