1950's ~ Sarreguemines & DIGOIN ~ French Vintage Porcelain "Poisson De Mer" Fish Plate ~ Freshwater Fish Design

Exquisite French Vintage Porcelain Fish Themed plate in lovely unique coral colors. It is unique as I have not seen a fish plate with these vivid images and colors.
Made by famous French manufacturer of Earthware Faience "DIGOIN et Sarreguemines" France, in Terre de fer.   Stamped : « Sarreguemines & Digoin - Veritable Opaque - France - Poisson de Mer ».

There are 6 different patterns illustrating dynamic freshwater fish scenes imprinted on each plate as follows:

Plate N 1 - Q#2
Decorated with a green fish with another fish in the background. I have 2 in the pattern. 1 Plate has no chips or cracks and 1 has a chip on the front gold edge.

Plate N 2 - Q#1
Decorated with a catfish in pink, orange, green and a purple fin with another fish in the background.

Plate N 3 - Q#3
Decorated with an orange fish with purple fin with an eel in the background. I have 3 in the pattern. 1 Plate has no chips or cracks and 2 have chips on the front gold edge.

Plate N 4 - Q#2
Decorated with a green and blue fish with another fish in the background. I have 2 in the pattern. 1 Plate has no chips or cracks and 1 has a chip on the front gold edge.

Plate N 5 - Q#1
Decorated with a green fish with pink spots with a swordfish in the background. There is a tiny chip on the front gold edge.

Plate N 6 - Q#2
Decorated with a reddish pink fish with another fish in the background. I have 2 in the pattern. 1 Plate has no chips or cracks and 1 has a chip on the front gold edge.

PLEASE NOTE: I have 5 Plates in stock but the price is for ONE 1 Plate. The listing is programmed to allow you to select a quantity you wish to purchase. Please ask me if the shipping doesn't make sense as the Etsy system is NOT programmed in France to calculate the shipping automatically so it's a manual entry subject to error. If the shipping is not correct, I always refund overages when processing my orders.

In lovely vintage condition. Given the age, there are minor areas of pattern fading/bleeding especially in the gold trim, subtle utensil marks on the surface, there are areas around the edges and surface of wearing down of the protection glaze or spots and minor areas where the surface is not smooth due to the manual manufacturing process and more detail by plate in the description section (of the 11 plates there of 5 that have a chip on the front gold edge) as shown in the photo collages. Please ask me if you are unclear. Please also take a look at the photos closely and use ZOOM for detail.

I ship all my products using the French Postal Service (La Poste). For larger items. I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section). If you want additional information about insurance or tracking for smaller items. please contact me for details on the supplemental change. 

If you live France. Belgium. Luxembourg. Spain. Italy. Great Britain. Portugal. Germany and Austria. I can use Mondial Relay to reduce the shipping charge. If you prefer this option. please contact me for new shipping price quote.

I am also willing to use Happy Post upon request and where ship location is offered in their service plan.  

All items are shipped from France to all over the world and I welcome multiple orders to consolidate shipments to help reduce shipping fees. where possible.

To be economically responsible and not charge handling fees. when available. I try to use recycled materials for my packaging while being mindful that the materials are suitable to ensure the safest expedition to protect your purchase during the delivery process. I pack very carefully. especially fragile items. but I do check to make sure I'm using the most cost-efficient method.
