This French vintage festival award or trophy was awarded as a prize during agricultural show in France. It honors a farm owners (breeders) for their animals for winning or placing in the competition for mixed breed heifers. This is for a Brebis which is a baby sheep in English.
The plate is in lovely bright marine blue with silver red highlights and trim and a lovely decorative areas on the top in red with 2 silver lions. Lovely patina and rustic distressed surface.
