1970s ~ French Vintage Collectible Hand-Painted Faïence Serving Piece or Garden Pot ~ Peint a la Main Signed by Artist

Lovely French Vintage Collectible Hand-Painted Faience Serving piece with side handles or can be used as a garden pot.   It formly was a covered serving piece but the cover must have been broken but it's too beautiful not to repurpose this piece for other uses.   It is decorated with 2 different scenes on each side, both inspired by asian scenes with flowers.    Signed by artist on the bottom "P.T. Hove B" and the paint style is similar to the Moustier style.

--- Condition ---

In lovely vintage condition.  There are areas where there are manufacturing marks and surface bumps from the glazing process, there is one area on one side where there is a wear chip in white varnish under the bow (refer to photo collage) where surface is not smooth and minor signs of surface crazing as shown in the photos and collages.    Please ask me if you are unsure. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates.

These items are old, were used and were manufactured at a time when processes were less under control as today. Therefore, in addition to the defects identified and reported in the ad, slight dimensional differences or deviations in the color or in the decoration between the different parts could be noted. Besides, some little marks or small manufacturing imperfections such as minor defects in the glaze or in the varnish etc., may also be observed.

I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section). All items are shipped from France to all over the world and I welcome multiple orders to consolidate shipments to help reduce shipping fees where possible.

To be economically responsible and not charge handling fees. when available. I pack very carefully especially fragile items and I check to make sure I'm using the most cost-efficient method.
