Lovely French Vintage Blue Glass with Pewter Labels Bathroom Accessories made by famous French maker of signature royal etain {Pewter in English), MRS (Maison de l'étain, Rose design -Etains à la Rose and Signature Royal) Company located in Maine-Et-Loir region in France.
The company was established in 1957 and closed in 2010 (store closed in 1987). The Rose or Rose Design pewter has been gravity cast or sand melted and each piece is made of high quality metal. "L'Etain A La Rose" Vintage French Round Blue Glass and Engraved Pewter Jar/container. These jars were made around 1960-70s time frame. The company was located in Paris on rue d'Hauteville closed its doors in 1987.

1. Largest piece with screw top pewter top and there is a metal pewter plate attached to the front that is engraved with "Eau de Toilette". It also is stamped by the maker on the pewter and the bottom of the blue glass - rose symbol - MADE IN FRANCE. SOLD
2. Medium piece with removable top pewter cover and there is a metal pewter plate attached to the front that is engraved with "Sels de Bain". It also is stamped by the maker on the pewter - rose symbol - MADE IN FRANCE.
3. Smallest piece with removable top pewter cover has a metal pewter plate label but is not inscribed. It also is stamped by the maker on the pewter - rose symbol - MADE IN FRANCE. SOLD
4. Cup with no cover has a metal pewter plate label and is inscribed Moon Sieur. SOLD
5. Vaporizer Perfume Bottle - Inscribed around the metal cover – ‘Made in France – Brevette SGDG Marcel Franck. SOLD

In lovely vintage condition. Due to the age, there are visible signs of usage and lovely imperfections such as surface marks/marks/minor scratches/dents in the pewter and metal fading and oxidation as shown in the photos. There are no holes, chips, cracks or rust that I can see. Please ask me if you are unsure. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates especially with the photo collages.
These items are old, were used and were manufactured at a time when processes were less under control as today. Therefore, in addition to the defects identified and reported in the ad, slight dimensional differences or deviations in the color or in the decoration between the different parts could be noted. Besides, some little marks or small manufacturing imperfections such as minor defects in the glaze or in the varnish etc., may also be observed.
