1900s ~ "Raynaud Cie Tressemann Vogt" LIMOGES ~ French Antique Fine Porcelain China Salad Plate

This exquisite French Antique Fine Limoges Porcelain Salad Plate.  Made by the famous prestigious French maker of Earthware Fine Porcelain tableware "Raynaud & Cie - Tressemann & Vogt" and this mark in the pattern was produced between 1919-1940 based on my research.

The white ivory porcelain is delicately decorated by stamp transfer, with beautiful pink rose with plate green garland floral arrangements with decorative design in forest green, mustard and gold pattern and trimming surrounding each plate.

Each is Stamped : « LIMOGES RAYNAUD & Cie. T & V Limoges France » with an image of a swan.

In lovely vintage condition. Given they are close to 100 years old, there are signs of use and some age marks such as pattern fading and/or bleeding in certain areas especially the gold trim, there may be 1 or 2 tiny manufacturing marks in the services and faint surface marks of utensil usage but not at all heavy and there is 1 with a chip on the back side of the plate not visible from the front as shown in the photos. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracking or crazing in the service. Please take a look at the photos closely and use zoom for detail.

**Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process. Crazing is cracking in the surface of the plate due to use sometimes it's even and is called the crackle look and other times it is random.

These items are old, were used and were manufactured at a time when processes were less under control as today. Therefore, in addition to the defects identified and reported in the ad, slight dimensional differences or deviations in the color or in the decoration between the different parts could be noted. Besides, some little marks or small manufacturing imperfections such as minor defects in the glaze or in the varnish etc., may also be observed.
