Rare Exquisite LARGE French Vintage Barbotine Ironstone Garden Pot Planter Flower Pot "Cache Pot" or "Jardinière" in French. The lovely solid piece was made by famous French maker of Earthware “Faienceries D’Onnaing (NORD) France”, in Terre de Fer ('faïence' in French).
This planter is decorated with hand-painted embossed floral patterns of rhododendrons in vivid shades of rose pink, orange mustard and light olive green colors. It’s a real statement piece and has lots of charm
Stamped on the bottom "Faienceries D’Onnaing (NORD) France – 1206 3/767" with an image of a horn.

In lovely rustic vintage condition due to the age however there are certainly signs of usage and lovely imperfections such as some pattern bleeding/fading in certain spots, subtle utensil marks in the surface, manufacturing marks and surface bumps from the glazing process, areas around the edge that are not smooth and signs of crazing with some discoloration on the surface in certain areas as shown in the photo collages. Please take a look at the photos closely and use ZOOM for details on the plate especially the photo collages. If you are not sure, please ask me questions about the condition of the plates and request more photos.
