French Antique Wooden Hand-Carved Dutch Clogs ~ French Sabot ~ Farmer Gardening Shoes

Lovely French Antique Primitive Hand Carved Wooden Clogs/Sabot/Dutch Clogs. Rustic hand-made clogs used for French farmhouse home decor.   Most likely made around the mid 1900s. This large pair was used by farmers or gardeners for doing outdoor garden work as they are sturdy, water proof and do not damage easily. There is a small tied rope holding them together so they can be hung but it can be easily untied so you can wear them or separate them. I would say they are around a 10-11 shoe size for a man or woman.

I clean them with dish soap and water then finished it with 100% natural miss mustard seed hemp oil to bring it back to original condition and enhance the detail and grain in the wood. They are a piece of art with all the imperfections in the hand carved detail. You can't reproduce this look It has lots of charm!

In rustic vintage condition. As this item is antique and more than 100 years old, there are signs of aging such as distressed marks/cracks/tiny holes and wearing in the wood however as mentioned this is what makes it unique and beautiful. It's a sturdy, solid piece and can be used since it has been cleaned although I would use it as display.

I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section).
