The French came up with a clever stylish way to put a decorative piece in the center of the table a pot with a cover to discard from food: meat fat or fish bones, breadcrumbs, fruit peel or nut shells. Everything no one wants to eat. It reads "Poubelle de Table" in French which means "Waste basket of the table" in English.
Hand-painted porcelain stoneware with floral arrangements in violent, pink, red, blue, green and yellow. It can be used for dining or simply beautiful on display in a kitchen, dining room, living space or bathroom to hold toiletries such as cotton swaps ~ use your imagination.
Signed by the artist on the bottom of the piece and states in french 'decor main' = hand decorated.

In rustic vintage condition. There is a tiny chip and hairline crack on the inner surface at the rim as seen in the photos. Please take a look at the photos closely and use zoom for detail.
