French Vintage Cloisonne High Glazed Jewelry Box ~ Collectible EMAUX de Saint Jean L'Aigle Factory in LONGWY

Exquisite Collectible French Vintage High Glazed Ceramic EMAUX Cloisonne covered storage box, Jewerly Box, Trinket Box or Candy Dish "Bonbonniere ou Boite a Bijoux" in French.  Based on my research of the stamp of Longwy it was made by well-known modern faience factory in longwy "Saint Jean L'Aigle", in France, circa 1978.   It has a brown footed legs and a swam on top as a handle to open.  

--- Condition ---

In lovely rustic vintage condition, due to the age there is some discoloration and the original crazing from the firing process with age appropriate wear.  There is a blemish on the top cover wear it looks like the swam with attached.   Overall, very good and there are no real chips or cracks in the surface. Please take a look at photos and use ZOOM for detail.

**Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process. Crazing is cracking in the surface of the plate due to use sometimes it's even and is called the crackle look and other times it is random.

I ship all my products using the French Postal Service (La Poste). For larger items. I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section). To be economically responsible and not charge handling fees. when available.
