Original Antique British WWI Military Issue Rum Barrel JUG English Antique WWI SRD which stands for "Supply Reserve Depot" 1 Gallon Glazed Sandstone Earthenware Militaria.   Stamped but difficult to read the ink "1939 - The Potteries, Whittington Moor, Chesterfield LTD Pearson & Co".   EMPTY bottle 

The SRD is also referred to in soldier humor as Seldom Reaches Destination, Soon Runs Dry and Service Rum Diluted.  

--- Condition ---

In rustic vintage condition. There are signs of usage and age, such as surface marks, wear in the protective glaze, manufacturing marks blemishes where the surface isn't smooth, manufacturing/firing spots from the glazing process and there is some age crackle crazing from other firing process as shown in the photo collages. All the decorative blemishes are shown in the photos, please use ZOOM to see with more precision.

I ship all my products using the French Postal Service (La Poste). For larger items. I ship using Colissimo (La Poste International service) which includes tracking. minimum insurance and estimated delivery dates (which is normally faster than the processing times in my policy section). To be economically responsible and not charge handling fees. when available. I pack very carefully especially fragile items and I check to make sure I'm using the most cost-efficient method.
