Lovely Hand-Painted French Vintage Faience Earthenware Moustiers VIEUX ROUEN Covered Serving Piece (Soup Tureen, Vegetable Dish and "Soupiere" or "Légumière" in French) & Matching Small Covered Pot. It's the same style as the famous "La Faience de Moustiers Sainte Marie", ceramic earthenware capital of France. Signed on the bottom "DECOR ROUEN Fait Main".

In lovely rustic vintage condition. There are no real signs of usage except a tiny Chip in the varnish on the 1 of the 4 feet of the soup tureen visible on 1 side as shown in the photos and collages. Please ask me if you are unsure. PLEASE use ZOOM to review closely the detail and condition of the plates.
These items are old, were used and were manufactured at a time when processes were less under control as today. Therefore, in addition to the defects identified and reported in the ad, slight dimensional differences or deviations in the color or in the decoration between the different parts could be noted. Besides, some little marks or small manufacturing imperfections such as minor defects in the glaze or in the varnish etc., may also be observed.

Approximate longest measurements: Covered Serving Piece: 28 cm length x 18 cm width x 15 cm height with cover (9 cm body only) x 21 cm x 14 cm top diameter & 1310 grams. Small Servign Pot: 18 cm height x 16 cm width with handle x 9 cm diameter & 420 grams. 1730 grams in total not including the packaging weight.
